It’s been revealed that Hyundai got the most bang for its Buck with Super Bowl adverts for the new Santa Fe increasing Hyundai site traffic by 1000%. So, with figures like that and a huge captive audience, it’s no wonder car makers like to strut their latest products in front of the Super Bowl audience with the hope of a big return in sales. Umpteen car makers ran TV adverts in the 2013 Super Bowl, but it looks like Hyundai has come out very much on top, with Edmunds reporting a traffic increase of 738% in traffic for the new Hyundai Santa Fe after Hyundai ran its adverts and the US Autotrader site a massive 1000% increase.
A LIFEBOAT CREW rescued two cars which were swamped by the sea within 90 minutes of each other as the highest tides of the year caught drivers out. At least one of the vehicles which were wrecked by the submerging North Sea had been used to try to pull a boat out of the water, the RNLI said. The new Honda NSX has been a decade or more in the making as Honda vacillated over whether or not to revisit their supercar odyssey with a a new NSX for the 21st century. But having shaken off the self-imposed shackles that made them believe a new Honda supercar in these more austere and ‘Green’ times would be anathema, Honda are finally powering forward with a new NSX. True, they’ve decided their new NSX needs to be’Green’ to be good, but the green-ness Honda are throwing at the new NSX actually gives it more power too, so we’re not complaining.
